Project context
A late 19th-century bourgeois apartment with a compartmentalised original layout. The service rooms were isolated from the reception rooms, and the technical installations (plumbing, electricity, drainage) required a complete upgrade and a full rethink of the living spaces.
EKSY Conseil’s mission
Full owner’s representation (AMO): drafting the specification, rigorous selection of contractors for every trade, comparative analysis of quotes to eliminate extra costs, scheduling and weekly supervision of the worksite, design of bespoke joinery and decorative guidance.
Key constraints
A cut-stone Haussmann building subject to very strict co-ownership rules (noise hours, protection of the common areas). The plumbing risers had to be adapted without weakening the load-bearing structures or altering the period mouldings and fireplaces.
Solutions delivered
Spatial restructuring opening the kitchen onto the dining room, creation of a master suite with private shower room, expert restoration of the old floors and joinery, and discreet integration of contemporary equipment that preserves the authenticity of the Parisian volumes.
